A Kashmiri papier-mâché jewelry box belonging to our founder Amy’s mother and Indian miniature art were the original inspirations for our Unicorn’s Garden print. The human fascination with unicorns has spanned centuries and continents, continuing to the present day just as strongly as ever. In fact, our designer’s desk is full of unicorn books, bookends, letter openers, mugs and glasses. With this love for animals and the natural world firmly in our minds, we were led to antique tapestries featuring a mille-fleur pattern and so the design for a frolicking mythical creature amidst a field of vibrant flowers was born. Find out more about the history and inspiration behind the design on our blog.
