About Printfresh

Printfresh is all about the creative, the cozy and the bold (because who said your comfort zone had to be boring?). A majority woman-owned lifestyle brand founded in 2016 by textile designer and fashion entrepreneur Amy Voloshin and her husband Leo, we celebrate all that is joyful with original hand-painted patterns designed in Philadelphia and brought to life by our ethically conscious partners in Jaipur, India. Offering organic cotton loungewear, apparel, home decor and accessories in sizes XXS to 6X, we want everyone to find their perfect fit—without sacrificing style or substance.

Meet Amy

Our company was founded in 2016 by textile designer and fashion entrepreneur Amy Voloshin and her husband (and business partner) Leo Voloshin. Like many beginnings, Printfresh started as just a dream.

The daughter of industrial designers, Amy grew up with big goals of building her own creative career. After following her artistic endeavors and graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Textiles, Amy honed her design skills early in her career at Urban Outfitters and Free People. In 2006 at the age of 25, she launched Printfresh Studio, a to-the-trade textile design studio. After 15 years of designing prints for the fashion industry, Amy made the decision to take the leap to create her own lifestyle collection, Printfresh.

A majority woman-owned business, Printfresh is a collection of sleepwear and lifestyle items that are inspired by flora, fauna and the world around us. From the early days of Amy packing and shipping orders out of her house, Printfresh has since grown into a nationally recognized (and loved) sleepwear and lifestyle brand with a storefront in Manhattan, as well as a robust wholesale business.

What started as a dream has evolved into a comprehensive lifestyle brand that is designed to give the sweetest of dreams to others. When not working at the studio in Philadelphia, Amy spends time reading, cooking, practicing yoga and spending time with Leo, their two children and rescue chihuahua Meemo, splitting their time between Philadelphia and an old vineyard in New Jersey.

Our Values:

Sustainable & Ethical Business Practices

It is our belief that there is a way to make products with great care, and we acknowledge that our choices as a company (no matter the size) have an impact on the world. While we are a small business, we feel it is our responsibility to do what we can to manufacture sustainably and ethically and to provide transparency along the way. We hope our customers can sleep soundly in our pjs knowing that tremendous care went into the planning and production of our designs.

Size Inclusivity

We believe that brands should champion inclusive sizing, and we’re committed to offering all our designs in a full range of sizes - up to 6X for our most beloved styles, and in petites and talls for fan-favorite prints. We work with a variety of different fit models to ensure that our pajamas wear well and feel great in every size.

Organic Fabrics

In 2021 we began making our cotton poplin pajamas with organic fabric. We worked closely with our certified mill to make a cotton that is just as soft as the one we previously used. So why make the shift? Because it’s something that strongly aligns with our values. In addition to our trademark organic cotton, in 2023 we introduced a 100% eco-friendly Satin viscose made from sustainably grown forests.

Founder Amy Voloshin is passionate about creating a space that speaks to our brand, shares unique perspectives from sleepwear enthusiasts and finds ways to promote more thoughtful living. Our blog PF Mag covers creative topics on all things lifestyle - including behind the scenes looks, fashion, design, travel, and home decor, as well as interviews with some of the people who inspire us most.

Pledge 1%

We proudly joined Pledge 1% in 2021, a global movement that is creating a new normal for companies of all sizes and stages to have a positive social impact through their business. This means we joined over 12,000 companies worldwide who have committed to donating 1% of their product, profit, staff time and/or equity to charities of their choosing.

At Printfresh, we are proud to support GiveIndia, Loveland Foundation, and the MADE Institute in Philadelphia. We believe that giving back should not just be a financial contribution, so we also pledged to give our time back to our community. We participate in local service activities and encourage our team at Printfresh to share in that effort.

Investing in Quality

Part of creating a sustainable business is acknowledging how price and discounting impacts both the long-term viability of our business and mission. We believe in paying our talented, hard-working teammates well, and we refrain from negotiating unfairly with vendors. Pricing our products appropriately allows us to choose partners who are just as ethical and sustainable.
