The Dream Destination: Nashville Travel Journal
Where we Stayed:
While researching where to stay in Nashville it was impossible not to immediately be drawn to the Graduate. I could not resist the Dolly Parton décor! It’s safe to say the hotel did not disappoint upon arrival. It’s home to the infamous (and totally Instagramable) White Limozeen rooftop bar that so many girl groups, especially bachelorette parties, love to frequent. Though we loved our stay at the Graduate, next time it would be amazing to stay at the Noelle Hotel. The gift shop in the lobby is next level cool.
Where we Ate & Drank:
There are so many adorable Barista Parlor locations throughout the city, I seriously wanted to stop at them all. Along with the cool ambience, the Nashville trademark is home to delicious coffee concoctions like a Honey Lavender Espresso and CBD Cold Brew. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! I’d definitely recommend also stopping at Hattie B’s, their fried chicken was out of this world awesome. In addition to lunch at Hattie B’s, we loved our meals at Rolf And Daughters and Butcher & Bee. Both had such great seasonal dishes, we’d go back to the two restaurants in a heartbeat.
What we Did:
We spent some time at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens along with catching a show at the Station Inn, which was my favorite thing we did in Nashville. No trip to the city is complete without checking out the lower Broadway area. It’s touristy but a great place to catch some music. We went to Robert’s Western World which was very crowded but a fun way to fully embrace Nashville! Another to-do to check off your list is to get (at least) one photo in front of Nashville’s many murals. 12 South is home to both the “nashville looks good on you” and “I Believe in Nashville” murals which make for great photo opps.
Where we Shopped:
There is a ton of great shopping in Nashville. It’s a little divided by neighborhood so it’s easiest if you have a car to get around. Walking around 12 South is fun - there’s a bunch of great places to check out - like Emerson Grace, Imogene+Willie, Draper James and White’s Mercantile.
In the Gulch there are some super cute places to stop as well. Lucchese has such beautiful cowboy boots, they can be a splurge but so worth the cost. I loved Parish, too. They carry the best brands and high end items that are hard to find, so it’s a fantastic place to find something unique and beautifully made. Finally, E.Allen was a great stop on our trip. It’s a perfect store to pop into if you need to pick up something new for a night out on the town!
Any Quick Tips for Visiting Nashville?
