What Inspired Our Bunny Printed Pajamas
We’ve been wanting to do an Easter print for a while, and since we’ve received a lot of requests over the years for a rabbit motif, it felt like the perfect time to introduce these furry friends! We thought bunnies snacking on carrots in a field of flowers would be such a fun thing to offer, and we’re in love with how it turned out. These pajamas are festive and fun, I can’t wait to see how our shoppers react to them.
Our Print Designer Christiane is super into ditsy floral prints, she’s been working on different options for patterns that combine cute novelty critters and pretty flowers. Bunny Trail definitely gives you the best of both worlds! The flowers in this print aren’t specific varieties, but resemble well-worn mums and liberty flowers that were originally inspired by vintage printed fabrics.
“When I was a kid, one year my parents sent my brother and me on an Easter egg hunt in our basements, directing us to look under furniture and open up cabinets in search of treasure. We peeked in a shelf under the bookcase and to our shock found two large bunnies, real as can be! One was a super-soft lop ear I named Commander Bun Bun, and the second was dark with light eye-liner who my brother named Basil Stag Hare (after a rabbit in the woodland creatures-meet-medieval times books the Redwall Series). I loved having rabbits as a part of our family, and it was fun to include their likenesses in this springtime pattern!” - Print Designer Christiane

Rabbits represent abundance, intuition, and transformation, so it’s easy to see why shoppers have been wanting to see a bunny print for so long. I love ringing in the spring season with new pajamas like Bunny Trail, but also by spending time near Cape May to enjoy the changes in the air. Birds are migrating back, trees are blossoming and the grass is starting to get more green, all such fun signs that springtime is here!

There are so many great styles included in the Bunny Trail collection.
