Sincerely, Amy | Debuting the 2024 Holiday Shop
Our 2024 Holiday Shop recently launched and I’ve been absolutely loving the collection. We focused on a lot of family moments and bringing fun and whimsy together for everyone. The photo shoots were hilarious this year, with so many familiar faces, the team’s kids and of course, some pups. We also had the chance to shoot some of our holiday imagery at my friend's new hotel which is close to the office which was such a treat - it was great working together with a local business to show off our new designs in her gorgeous boutique hotel. My personal favorite from the collection is the Gingerbread Party print. It's really unexpected and fun! The navy ground helps it almost feel like a neutral while the statement-making cookie motifs stand out for any holiday party or family dinner. Our Nutcracker Dreams print has also quickly become a bestseller this year. I love that it comes in a pj set for the kiddos, it makes for an adorable matching moment with mom!
On top of a busy holiday launch, I’ve been traveling nonstop lately. Printfresh just had a fun little evening in Charleston in collaboration with EtTu home. It was such a nice way to meet with influencers and fans of the brand. I loved being able to wear our new top from the Stevie Set out to the event with a pair of these comfy vegan leather pants from Mango (I’d been considering “leather” pants for years and am so glad I finally took the plunge!). Leo and I also went leaf peeping in upstate NY for his birthday. All the colors were incredible, and we even got to make it to the Sheep and Wool festival. It was very inspiring, it got me thinking that we might need a sheep and Llama print in the future! I’m very excited for a quick trip to Colonial Williamsburg for something special with one of my favorite publications of all time, and then, over to LA for a super cool holiday party (stay tuned!). Our annual trip to Mexico is right around the corner. We’re popping into Merida, Tulum and then meeting up with the rest of the family at our usual resort where all the kids run wild!
With all this travel, it’s been nice taking some time to sit and draw. I’ve gotten really into travel journaling to illustrate all the places I’ve been seeing / what I’ve been eating, etc. to savor the moments. What about you? How do you like to take time to slow down and stay present during your busy schedules?
Sincerely,
Amy
