Sincerely, Amy: Checking Off My Summer Bucket List
We recently released a new apparel collection that I could not be more excited about. We’ve been getting so many requests for more dresses, and since the last few collections did so well it felt like the perfect opportunity to expand with this small capsule. I wanted to use bright colors for the end of the summer, these styles had to be bold and exciting! They are great for vacation or out to dinner at your favorite restaurant - just so effortlessly chic and comfortable.
The Skip Ahead Midi is an easy cotton dress that you can throw on and go to the farmers market, out to lunch, antiquing - whatever it may be - I l just love a silhouette that’s effortless and transitional. We also introduced our first eyelet style - the To and From Eyelet dress. I love the embroidery technique of eyelet but it can be challenging to develop with prints. So over the past year we worked to execute this unique combination and could not be happier with how the pattern and texture turned out! Both of the styles come in our new Countryside Drives print. The name makes me think of feeling very comfortable yet put together, so whenever you arrive at your destination you’re sure to receive tons of compliments.
This summer has gone by so fast (as it always does!), but I’m hoping to take some time to slow down and check some things off our family bucket list. I’d like to do more painting (I love doing abstract painting - it’s so relaxing and fun), swim in the ocean, and make some fantastic new recipes. I’m also working on getting through some of the books I wanted to read this summer which include: The Nigerwife (from our book club), The Silent Patient, and The Woman I Wanted to Be (by Diane von Furstenberg).
The season always slips away quickly, but here’s to hoping we all can enjoy the last of it!
Sincerely, Amy
