Sincerely, Amy: Happy Mother’s Day
The family and I just returned from Eleuthera in the Bahamas, a new destination we were all so excited to explore. The island had the most beautiful remote beaches I’ve ever seen, the turquoise water was truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed our excursion time on Harbour Island (I followed lots of Gen Sohr’s lovely recommendations, which I'll share in a travel blog post shortly so stay tuned!). We had the best time zipping around the adorable town on a golf cart, the kids couldn’t get enough!
Now that we’re back, it’s all about preparing for Mother’s Day. I love gift giving, so creating and curating the Mother’s Day Shop with gifting in-mind was so fun. I tried to think of the types of prints and styles that I would want to give and receive myself. Clementine, Hummingbird Haven, Strawberry Fields and Beekeeper are easy gifts for those who love nature, gardening and obviously just bright happy patterns. My personal favorite are the Hummingbirds, the fresh raspberry color is gorgeous and the mix of florals and birds are so quirky and fun. It comes in our much-requested Short Sleep Top & Cropped Pants Set silhouette, a true fan-favorite everyone will be thrilled to unwrap.
When gifting for my friends and family during Mother’s Day, I’m all about getting creative and personal. My Mom is pretty particular but food gifts always go over well. I love Goldbelly since it allows her to try interesting foods from hip cities that she doesn’t get to try on the regular.
As far as my plans go for the holiday, hopefully I’ll be relaxing after all the travel we’ve been doing lately! The kids and Leo like to surprise me (but Mila’s quite the planner - so I’m sure she will come up with something fun). I hope that however you’re spending this Mother’s Day, may you find connection with all the ladies in your life. From the dog parents and cat mamas, to close friends and the new Moms, take a moment to share admiration for all of these amazing women. Acknowledge their patience and support them in whatever way you can.
Sincerely, Amy
