Sincerely, Amy: The Dish on Fall Delights
Whether it’s the golden light of fall kissing the multicolored leaves or the enchanting aroma of apple pie and pumpkin spice, every element of this season holds something special. Printfresh Founder Amy Voloshin explores her favorite whimsical fall-focused prints, shares her penchant for quirky Halloween décor and takes us through her exciting autumn plans in this Sincerely, Amy. Grab your quilted jacket and a cup of something warm, and let’s jump into the wonderful world of fall together!
I am so excited that fall is finally here. From the changing of the leaves with the golden light of fall reflecting on the yellow and orange colors, to all the autumnal scents like apple pie and pumpkin spice, the sights and scents of the season are so special. I can be a bit intimidated with fall fashion because of all the complexity of layering - but I do love a quilted jacket. Add in a new pair of fun sneakers that go with everything, some bold printed tops, denim and I’ll be set!
We recently released a few fall-focused prints and it’s really hard to pick a favorite. The sillier and more unique the better is usually my take on things so I’m really loving Moon Flight in the fun paloma color, and of course, the Halloween House Cats. They are so quirky, they just make me laugh. I fully plan to wear the print while passing out candy on Halloween night. My youngest wants to go as Barbie (we loved the movie!). Our neighborhood is really into trick or treating, the streets are swarming with kids so it’s quite the big deal. I’m hoping to decorate the front of our house in some sort of festive way. My nextdoor neighbor always goes all out - so he’s really something to contend with!
After returning from our trip to India, October will be a big birthday month in our family - so that means plenty of celebrations. We are hoping to make it up to the Hudson Valley since it’s so pretty that time of year and we love catching up with friends in the area and going for hikes. My family also loves to make a bucket list (ok maybe it’s mostly me) but everyone is a good sport about indulging me with whatever I put on it. Every weekend I try to pick something from it to embrace the season and try something you can only do during this wonderful time of year.
How about you? Is there anything you’re crossing off your fall bucket list? I’d love to know!
Sincerely, Amy
