I love summer as it’s such a relaxing time. The kids are out of school, schedules are more fluid, and I love basking in the warmth of the sun (in a giant straw hat of course). This summer we hope to really create some beautiful memories with the kids, especially after two years of not traveling much. I’m planning a trip to Europe with them to show them some of my favorite places in Paris. Leo (my husband and cofounder) and I used to travel to Paris very frequently for work and really know our way around, and I’m excited to show the kids the things that I think they will love like the catacombs and the eiffel tower. We also plan to visit Amsterdam which I love, and then hop to some places we haven’t been before like Santorini, Athens, and Milos. Greece has been on my bucket list for a very long time, and I’m so excited to finally check it out.
This summer I’m hoping to learn how to play pickleball. There are loads of courts by our place by the beach so I’m hoping to get the hang of it. I’m also planning to really commit to learning to surf (I have surfed before, but would love to be able to catch waves without help!). I plan on spending some time reviewing my wardrobe and planning out some outfits with what I already own (I’ve got loads of pretty sundresses). And, I plan to spend a considerable amount of time in caftans, this and this are my favorites. Leo got these sunglasses for me and they are just perfect (so retro and feminine). I just finished listening to the book Brackish Waters read by Christina Applegate, and I hope to read Stretch: Unlock the Power of Less - and Achieve More than You Ever Imagined, and The Day the World Stops Shopping while relaxing on the beach.
