5 Ways to Refresh Your Bedtime Routine for Spring
The spring season is the perfect opportunity to refresh your evening routine with clean products and healthy habits that’ll make bedtime an even more relaxing experience. 1. Refresh your Skincare Routine
Your skincare needs can adjust from season to season with spring obviously being no exception. I’ve really been wanting to get one of these red light therapy masks. They look terrifying, but so many of my friends are all using similar ones at night and their skin is looking radiant! The LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask is everywhere right now and for good reason, it’s amazing at hydrating the lips and perfect for layering on before heading to bed. For other spring skincare tips, adding in an exfoliator (like the Moon Juice Acid Potion) after a winter of dry skin is always a good idea, as well as switching out heavier moisturizers with something lighter (like the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Face Moisturizer) that accommodates the warmer weather.
2. Incorporate Seasonal Journaling Prompts
I typically start my days with journaling but that’s not to say incorporating a journaling practice into your evening routine can’t also be beneficial. Reflecting on your day and setting yourself up for tomorrow’s success is crucial to putting your mind at ease after a long day, and a great habit to introduce in spring. 3. Read Spring Books Before Bed
Lighten up your bedtime reading for spring with picks perfect for the season. I like to balance my selections with popular new releases (if you haven’t checked out our first Printfresh x Simon & Schuster Book Club pick yet, I’d highly recommend it!) and classics that suit spring. Emily Henry’s books are always so fun to read, her newest release Happy Place drops in April so I know that’ll be added to my bedside table. Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman and A Poem for Every Spring Day by a Collection of Poets are two poetry reads that really end your night on such a positive note and put you in the mood for the season.
4. Upgrade your Bedding
